Malaysia to allow visa-free entry to Chinese, Indian nationals

MOUSUMI RAHMAN MOU

Malaysia recorded 9.16 million traveler appearances between January and June this year, with 498,540 from China and 283,885 from India, as indicated by government information. That contrasts with 1.5 million appearances from China and 354,486 from India in a similar time in 2019, before the pandemic.

Other Asian nations have been going to comparable lengths.

China last week declared sans visa passage from the following month for residents of Malaysia and a few European nations, while adjoining Thailand, whose economy depends intensely on the travel industry area, has excluded Chinese and Indian nationals among others.
